The Story
The Community Preschool of the Palisades was founded in 1962 as a parent cooperative preschool serving the Palisades neighborhood. Operating out of Palisades Community Church, the school has provided early childhood education to generations of neighborhood children. The cooperative model involves parents in classroom activities and school governance, fostering a strong sense of community. The school emphasizes play-based learning and social-emotional development.
