The Story
National Presbyterian School was founded in 1969 as the elementary school of National Presbyterian Church. The school is located on the church's campus along Nebraska Avenue, adjacent to American University. While affiliated with the Presbyterian Church, NPS welcomes students of all faiths and backgrounds. The school emphasizes character development alongside academics and is known for its nurturing community atmosphere and strong elementary education program.
